My reflections on Arrow Valley parkrun ()

In which I finally squish a reoccurring NENYD.

Upon running Sutton park on January 1st Arrow Valley became my Nearest Event Not Yet Done for the second of third time. I decided that before its position could be usurped again I should squish it once and for all.

The parkrun is a fair walk from the train station, at least if you take the route I did past not one but two Wetherspoons, but not too difficult to find.

I completed the parkrun in a time of 27’13, finishing 151st (123rd Male, 6th SM30-34) out of about 515 (which I thought was nicely palindromic).

Unfortunately I had no time for their après-parkrun as I needed to get to work for midday.
