I noticed that my personal record for “Most parkruns in a year” was 51 set in both 2016 and 2017, seeing as they were sharing the title so nicely I could not bring myself to steal their record, so having run my 51st parkrun of the year on the Tuesday before, I spent the last Saturday of the year volunteering.
I volunteered at Perry Hall parkrun to the hand out the Finish Tokens, and gave away almost 150 of them.
This stint of volunteering increased my count for the year up to 22, exactly the same number as in 2017.
