Heading out to Sea ()
Since the spring I had been signed up for the Big Fetch Mile in Cardiff, and my parkrun plans were pencilled into my diary ‘Wales’. It was much more recently I started looking into which parkrun to attend, and there were plenty of good options, but my mind kept bringing me back to one in particular.
Swansea Bay is one of very few parkruns that I had visited in both 2016 and 2017, and the only one from that list that I had not been to this year. It took just three megabus tickets and a cheap B&B to correct this oversight.
I completed the parkrun in a time of 23’05, my fastest time ever on this course. I finished 57th (42nd Male, 4th SM30-34) out of about 256.
